THE PREPARATION & PRESERVATION OF FOODOur cooking classes are designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and self-sufficiency in the kitchen. They focus on connecting participants to their food (and each other!) in a fun, interactive way.
They also strive to expose participants to new foods or new ways of cooking, provide helpful information on healthy meal planning, as well as teach the skills and techniques needed to prepare and preserve your food at home. Inspired by what is currently in season, our classes are ever-changing and often start by harvesting ingredients from our neighborhood gardens. We offer a variety of in-person classes and workshops throughout the year, as well as free lunch & learn culinary-themed presentations on the first Wednesday of each month. |
