Youth Summer Camps & Classes 2019

Protect Our Environment – Kids Camp

Ages: 8-10

Date: Thursday, Aug 1 from 9:00 to 11:30 am

Everything we use comes from somewhere, but when we are done with it, where does it go? Do you know how plastic is made or what it is made from? Do you know that everything we use comes from the Earth – but what happens to the Earth in order for us to use all of its resources the way we do? And – do you REALLY know what happens to things after we throw them AWAY?

This camp will engage youth to connect with their environment and investigate the answers to these important questions through a variety of hands on activities. Join Bev Wagner of DMASWA and Eve of Sustainable Schools AmeriCorps for this interactive 2.5 hour camp for youth ages 8-10.

Cost: $8 – all supplies included. *Scholarship slots are available. Please email natalie@convivium-dbq.com for more information.
