Winter Soups & Stews – Full

There is nothing quite as comforting as a hot bowl of soup or hearty stew on a cold winter day. Soups and stews are also great ways to stretch your dollar, use up leftover veggies, and are the perfect meal to make in bulk to share or freeze.
Join Convivium Chef, Tomas, for Winter Soups & Stews where you will make a Loaded Baked Potato Soup, a Wild Rice and Vegetable Soup, and a Beef Stew. Tomas will provide tips and tricks for preparing each recipe before participants join in to help cook! He will cover basic knife skills, the importance of flavor building, and the step-by-step process of building soup.
Participants will sample all three soups and recipes will be provided to take home. PURCHASE TICKETS HERE.
Registration is $30 and all proceeds support Convivium’s outreach efforts that provide access and education to children and families struggling with food access.
