The Community Casserole program is back! Free casseroles will be available for pick up every Thursday starting between January and June 2021.
Note: Registration for March is now open and will close March 1st.
One less meal to worry about.
Convivium’s Community Casserole program provides free, wholesome meals that are available each week for pick up and/or delivery.
This program provides one less meal for individuals and families to worry about during this challenging time. The global pandemic and its effects on our economy have been felt locally – leaving many families in our community struggling to put adequate meals on the table.
Over the past three months, we have distributed over 2250 casseroles to families right here in our community! Thanks to a lot of community support and a grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, we started again the first full week of January and are offering weekly meals again that can be picked up each Thursday from two different locations OR delivered to your home.
Pick up locations and times:
There is no registration required to pick up a casserole – you can just show up to one of these locations each week!
Convivium Urban Farmstead every Thursday between 11 am and 2 pm (or until supplies last).
2811 Jackson St. Dubuque, IA 52001
Resources Unite every Thursday from 2 to 4 pm (or until supplies last).
1900 John F. Kennedy Rd. Dubuque, IA 52002
Information about delivery
***NOTE: Registration for March delivery is now open and will close on March 1. Click here to sign up.***
We are excited to partner with DuRide to offer delivery of these wholesome meals right to your home! We have had several requests for delivery as many neighbors and residents suffer from health or mobility issues that make it difficult to leave the home, especially during COVID.
To sign up for delivery, you must fill out a registration form for each month that you would like meals. You will be able to select the meals that you want, the day/time you would like them dropped off, as well as provide information about how we can best deliver to your home. March’s registration form will be available on Friday, February 19.
If you have questions or need help filling out this form, please call Natalie at 563.557.2900 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

How you can help:
Through the first twelve weeks of our free casserole program, we have seen firsthand the increased need for food and have heard from so many patrons how helpful it is to have even just one less meal to worry about each week. Your donation helps to provide ingredients and purchase supplies that make it possible to give away over 600 meals a month.
Help us create the meals! It takes a lot of work to make 150 casseroles from scratch each week. Tuesday mornings we prepare all of the ingredients and Wednesday evenings we assemble. We are limiting group sizes to 6 people – grab your family or friends and come join us for an evening of delicious fun!
Email email@example.com if you are interested in volunteering.
Thank you to our generous supporters.
