Free Vegetables

Convivium plants and tends a series of free community garden boxes throughout the neighborhood. These are yellow, raised-bed gardens that we call our Common Beds.

During the growing season, neighbors and passersby are encouraged to harvest whatever vegetables they would like. Each bed includes signage explaining the concept and giving instruction on how and when to harvest vegetables from the bed.

This growing season we hope to provide over 300 pounds of free, fresh produce for the neighborhood. This translates into over 1,000 servings of vegetables!
