Middle Eastern Night
The Convivium held its first Middle Eastern Night on Fri., August 25th. Served was a Middle Eastern “mezze”, which is a traditional celebratory meal that consists of a wave of small plates–meats, salads, vegetables, dips–served family style.  The evening was topped off with Turkish coffee, mint tea, truffles and baklawa.  There was poetry reading, music, laughter and even a belly dancer! We hope to make this an annual tradition.
